In the past there was a setting that would allow you to choose whether you wanted your Word documents to each open up in their own window, or all be opened inside the applications window. If they are opened in separate windows, you can use the Alt+Tab to move between documents. If they are all only open with in the application, you have to use the Control+F6 command to switch between documents.
At this time I still can't find how to switch between the 2 types of document arrangements. The nice thing about having the documents all opening up in the application window and using Control+F6 is that it saves you time when you are using Alt+Tab to move between applications. It's just that alt tab no longer moves me between documents like it used to, and that's one of the rather confusing issues. The other is that Jaws will skip whole llines reporting that there is nothing there, and/or repeat lines and skip others at the same time. I do it all of the time.
