Hi Sharon,

First I apologize for giving you information you already were using..
After reading through your messages again, I think this might be your 
problem. I've copied this from my settings in the control panel under the 
folder options.

Folder Options
General View File Types Offline Files
Tasks
Show common tasks in folders
Use Windows classic folders
Browse folders
Open each folder in the same window
Open each folder in its own window
Click items as follows
Single-click to open an item (point to select)
Underline icon titles consistent with my browser
Underline icon titles only when I point at them
Double-click to open an item (single-click to select)
Restore Defaults
OK Cancel Apply
**on this page all of the items listed here are checked. You can look on 
yours and compare maybe that is the problem.**
