Marilyn asks: are you saying that this program would not work unless one were using on line banking directly from the bank?
No, no; never meant to imply that! I was only wondering if the feature to download transactions from a bank or other financial institution was available with this software. And I ask this because Discover Card online offers a feature to download transaction records in any of four different ways; one of these being a CSV file for Excel and two of the options include Quicken and MS Money formats. And I cannot get the CSV download to work. This even though when I go to the web site of one of my bank accounts I have no trouble downloading a CSV Excel-ready file that I can subsequently open with Excel. This ability to download transactions in a file is extremely helpful and if Money Talks could take advantage of it I would seriously considering purchasing the product despite my extreme satisfaction with Talking Checkbook. In fact, one of the driving forces behind my desire to download such transaction files and use them with Excel is because it isn't terribly challenging to import Excel files to MS Access -- MS Access is the underlying database for Talking Checkbook. ---------------- Bill Gallik E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - "If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane." - Jimmy Buffett --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "JAWS Users List" group.
