What they're trying to do is get you signed up at a price which is actually lower than the one they'll be charging after the first of the year. They make it sound like you have to join but you really don't Just keep in mind that when you do get a new SMA, it's going to cost you a lot more than it does now. We have a lot of words we use to describe Freedom Scientific around here but none of them are suitable for this kind of list. If you can afford it, I'd recommend that you do update your SMA.
