Sarah - I suspect very strongly that this is an Outlook Express problem, not a JAWS problem. The issue seems to be that a lot of add-ins that create new Toolbar entries destroy the ability of the setting that controls the ability to see only unread messages, just as we saw with that anti spam application. The only way that I know to verify this would be to have a sighted person stand by while you open Outlook Express without JAWS running and then see if the behavior is the same as it is when JAWS is running. Since JAWS has no way of controlling what is or is not displayed in any application, I can't believe that it can possibly be a JAWS issue at all.
