I haven't done any actual experiments with this configuration, but it is my understanding that the real problem attempting to run JAWS or WindowEyes with Dragon is the resource battle on the sound card that acts as both input and output devices. And, of course, there's the problem of Dragon hearing JAWS or WindowEyes yammering in the background while the user attempts to talk Dragon into doing what's desired.
I'm wondering if, by installing a secondary audio device, JAWS was instructed to utilize the secondary audio device and the user employed earphones that possibly Dragon and JAWS would "play nice" on the same PC?!?!?
