Patricia, That is how I insert the picture also, but for some reason Jaws still stops talking once it is inserted. Oh well, so long as I can eventually get it talking again it's no big deal. Thanks for checking for me.

I opened a black worksheet, pressed alt I, arrowed to picture...then to file...I then tabbed to lookin and the default is Picture, I up arrowed once to my documents and entered on it, then tabbed past the next to boxs this landed in graphic/edit area. I did route jaws to hear what was going on the name of the pic was in this area.. I then pressed Alt S which is to put it in the worksheet. Of course, I have no way of knowing less I send it to a friend of mine who can see if the pic is in the file.. But at no point for me did jaws not speak.
