Hi Rica, I'm beginning to suspect its more of a overall system challenge that simply a JFW one. This evening, when I was using my eloquence synthiser ad tried to say all with sappi the voice sounded rather distorted. I might have picked up a virus somewhere, so I'm going to run the virus scan and see what turns up in the wash!

Unless, it is running from a shortcut in the startup folder. At any rate, if this is when you are experiencing the problem, try unloading, and then re-loading Jaws, and try setting the voices again. Doing this will cause Jaws to run as an application. I have found in some instances, that Jaws will have a problem with sappi voices when it is running as a service.
