I just figured it was time to change the subject line here folks.

Hi,
Thanks for pointing out the alt N shortcut which can be used to select which
account to use to send an email message. I didn't know about it before, and
I have only been using Outlook for about a month.
Cheers,
Jeffrey

Liz,
Can't help you with your Jaws cursor, except to make sure your display
settings are correct, but I assume you have already done that.
But for sending from different accounts in Outlook, you don't need to use
your Jaws cursor. Just do an alt n when you are going to send an email from
a different account and arrow down to the account you want and press enter.
Good luck with the other problem.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] An intro and a question

Hi all:

My name is Liz Bottner. I recently joined this list. I have been a Jaws user
for some time now, about ten years or so. I am a college student who will
graduate this December. One of my interests is computers and assistive
technology, under which the Jaws screenreader falls. I enjoy helping people
with various technological issues, and also learning from others, and hope
that I can do both of those things on this list. In addition to my
introduction, I have a strange Jaws issue which has just cropped up recently
that I wasn't sure if any of you might be able to shed some light on.

The issue lies when I route my Jaws cursor to PC. I'm running Jaws version
7. For whatever reason, and this has just happened suddenly, instead of
reading like it normally would, all of the feedback I can get from routing
Jaws to PC from any program whatsoever is the title of the program followed
by 'minimize symbol, restore symbol.' When I left click anywhere on any
screen, it takes me into the System menu with restore, minimize, maximize,
close, etc. In Microsoft Outlook, for example, routing Jaws to PC would
usually allow me to do things like change the account from which I'm sending
email, but since routing the cursor is issuing this strange behavior, I am
unable to do that. I have no idea what might be causing this. I'm not sure
if I accidentally changed a setting somewhere or what. When I move around
with the arrow keys, it will repeat the same thing over and over again, with
the occasional 'blank' in between. If any of you think you might have any
idea as to what could be at issue here, I would definitely appreciate some
feedback on how to fix it. I upgraded to and installed Jaws 8 to see if that
fixed the problem, but unfortunately it did not.

Thanks, take care, and feel free to write me off list.

Liz
