It would probably help if I could see the code myself because I have no
idea.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] jaws reading html

Hi All,
First I am using xp home with jaws 8.
I am in the process of developing a new story for my web page.
To create my html I use notepad. The process is that I have a filename such
as filename.html.txt
After I make my changes I change the filename to filename.html and open it
Now I can read it as it will be displayed in my webpage.
I have a total of 5 links imbedded in the file.
When I read the viewed I am getting links reported that do not exist. When I
read past the 4th link every line after reports one word as a link.
an example is the word people on the next line is spoken as link people
I have clicked on these reported links and they take me to the 4th link.
There is nothing different in my html code to cause this to happen.
Any ideas why jaws is telling me that these words are links?
