Well, the problem that I have with jaws losing voice is definitely hardware. It happened this evening after my daughters unloaded jaws and did a lot of surfing. When I started jaws you could hardly hear it. I restarted the computer and the windows startup music was normal but you still could not hear jaws. I had someone click on a mp3 file and it played normally but jaws still was not speaking. I then tapped the sound card and unplugged the speakers. I plugged them in and jaws was speaking normally again. I will now activate the on board sound card and use it with jaws. This should definitely pinpoint where the problem is, old sound card or mb.
