Will it be free then too?

  Hi:
It seems it will not be long.
Looks like this version might be the final release. From their webpage:
"The current test focus lies on overall stability. We might be ready for a
Release Candidate depending on your testing."
You will be able to get it from the below URL:

  http://www.safer-networking.org/en/paragraphs/spybotsdbeta_intro.html

However, this beta version is quite stable and I think works better than 1.4.
  Sincerely,
  Terrill Reynolds

    Hi David:
Actually the program you want is called "spybotsd15.exe". I think you just
downloaded the definitions. The direct link to download is below.
Also thank you to Steve for pointing out a newer version.

Also my fault for not mentioning it is still a beta version. The program I
    just downloaded is

    spybotsd_includes.exe

    Is this correct?

I've seen a number of mentions of spybot 1.5 recently; no-one seems to
have pointed out that this is a beta, not an official release. For those
interested, the following link takes you to a page which gives a later
version of the beta which came out on 11th July.

I just placed spy bot 1.5 June 2007 up on the programs page. Some time
early next week I'll update the script files that go with it, but until
then the old scripts will get you through the weekend just fine.
