H'mmm. I rather probably changed the default almost as soon as I started to download AVG free, first thing I went to download, which wanted to download into my Temporary files, etc., and I didn't want that.

Sorry, but thats wrong. The save option will let you save the file anywhere you want to the drive and install later. The run option will download the file to the temp folder and then it installs it. personally, i would save any file gotten from the web, because when you do a run/install. it opens up to many doors for viruses to get threw.
