Hi Donny,
     I have never used office 2000. So I am of no help there. I do use 
office 2003 for my college classes and now the college is pushing for me to 
upgrade to office 2007. So, we are in the same boat not being sure what a 
new version might bring in terms of benefits and draw backs.
     I am sorry I am not of more help.
