Hi Patti, Before you do anything else with Spy-bot,try this. Open the program, and select the search for updates, and hit enter. When it is done with the search, you will have a list view of all available updates. All of these are unselected by default, so you will need to make sure to check every one with the spacebar. After that, click the download, and let it go. When the download is complete, close the program, and re-boot the computer. When the computer comes back up, open Spy-bot again, and see if you get the same errors. If not, you're golden, if you do, try un-installing and re-installing Spy-bot Jaws should read everything just fine. Any more problems, just sing out. HTH,
