Hi. Thanks, I'll try that out and see how it works. I was hoping that somewhere in the configuration manager there was a way to shut that off, such as with the "read only" messages JAWS would speak but could be disabled there. But whatever helps cut down on some of the chatter works for me.

Press Insert + V to open the dialogue, DownArrow to Information Bar Messages Announcement, SpaceBar to toggle the setting, Enter to close the dialogue. The setting is saved for the next time you open Outlook. Note that the Information Bar can contain other messages, and by turning off the announcement you won't get any of them. The only way I can think of getting rid of just this one message would be to play with the dictionary manager.
