well actaully AVG anti spyware, and AVG personal firewall are two
different products, and araen't included in a suite with AVG
professional. In the earlier versions of AVG, I have found that the
major difference is between the two was that AVG professional allowed
you to schedule your scans, but that's been implomented in to AVG 7.5. I
believe technical support is the difference now. Not worth paying the 40
bucks for in my opinion, but I like supporting the company who has done
a great job.

I agree Marilyn. If it was off, the next time you booted up, you'd get the
baloon sound and then a message about items shown in red needing your
immediate attention. That's how AVG Professional works anyway. I'm not
sure about AVG Free but it too has a scanner which handles both inbound
