Hi Francis, There are technically six versions of Vista: Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Enterprise and Ultimate (which I have on my system). For RAM, I would say that 1 GB should be fine. I recommend at least 60 GB hard disk (Vista installation is larger than previous Windows versions). 2 GB RAM is useful if you are going to do extensive gaming and multimedia tasas on your system.
