Hi Francis, I have Windows Vista Home Premium, and a 120 GB hard drive with 1 GB of memory. I don't know about my processer, or whether a USB keypad will work for using JAWS keystrokes. However, I tend to think you could hook a USB keypad up...Although, in all honesty, I have JAWS set to desktop keystrokes and really haven't had any problems with navigating with the PC and JAWS cursors, etc.
As far as what laptop to buy, I'd stay away from HP. I have had problems with the DC connector coming loose inside the computer when I have the computer plugged in to an outlet. Right now, I have a Sony Vyo VGN-N365...Or something like that...And it works great. If you have any other questions, I'd be more then happy to help you; please email them to me off-list as the topic is starting to stray away from JAWS. Take care, Michael [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Francis E.
