No. I think she'll have to do a repair of JAWS in order to get it working
again. Before she tries that, however, get her to go to start, all
programmes, jaws, explore jaws, explore my settings, and delete any files
that relates to Windows Live Messenger. Hope that helps.

A friend is using Jaws 7 and Windows Live Messenger, and she wants the
typing sound enabled so she knows when someone is writing her a message.
Mine works fine and I followed the help command of using insert V and then
making sure typing sound is enabled. She said she used her insert V and
tried enabled typing sound, but she's not getting the sound. Is there
something else she needs to do possibly in config manager or somewhere else
in Live Messenger to get her sound to work? Thanks.
