Wow. Same here. In Windows Live Messenger, the typing sounder is enabled when I do a control V and check, but no sound.
I'm still trying to find my way around in this latest version, but I liked MSN Messenger 7.5 better. I think it was a little more JAWS friendly, but that's just my opinion.
