Cathie,
I have converted my entire CD library--over 500 CDs-- to WMA files on
my computer using CDEX. The process is very simple:
1. Start CDEX.
2. Put a CD into your drive.
3. CDEX should recognize that you have done that and display a list of
audio tracks. Your curser is at the top of this list and the entire
list is highlighted--the default setting. Manually rename the files if
you wish or select CDDB from the menu system and, if the CD has been
added to the database, CDDB will do this for you. If not, you must
manually rename the tracks as well as fill out the rest of the album
information--author, title, year, etc.
4. When you are satisfied with the track names and other info, press
F-9 to convert the files. Unless you change the default location, the
MP3--or in my case WMA--files will be put in your My Music folder.
That's it.
