Sorry that I don't have an answer for you, Chris, just another question to add. Has the new version of Thunderbird gotten rid of the annoying 'ex western' issue? I am still hoping that Thunderbird will eventually be my e-mail program, but thus far I've stuck with OE because of ease of use and familiarity.
