Yes, I like Word better, too.  In that case, I wonder what would happen if
you used MS Word, saved it as a Word doc, and then when all's said and done,
convert it to rich text?

I know nothing about conversions, so I can't say what the result would be.
All I know is that everything I do is in MS Word and I always save my work
as a Word document.

that way.  I could do it in wordpad but what I like about word is that you
can do things like numbering pages, headers and footers and stuff like that.

You can't do that with wordpad.
