All,
I think we just figured out what is going on in Jamie's case. Our
support team will now work with him to get it resolved and we'll be
working to get this cleared up right away. It is related to the Windows
Installer and System Restore we think. If you hear of anyone that seems
to be having a problem, please have them contact our support team so we
can work through this one with them.

Hmm this is very strange, as I have jaws v9.0.515 running here with word
2003 and it works great, better, in fact, than jaws 8. I can't remember
if in your original post you said if you had reinstalled microsoft
office, if not then I would try that.
