The answer to 'the second question' is that Winamp will open and play the Internet streams it can - such as M3U, PLS, PLZ, and perhaps WAX, and will try to play several others if it has been set to play them in the options as selected and as described in the below message. . Do not expect the playing of all 'audio' files by one player to be problem-free, no matter the excellence of the plug-ins as enhancements.
