I found Winamp v. 3.62 to be the most stable with JFW versions prior to 7.0. This however is just my opinion. The biggest problem I've found with later WinAmp versions is that the library is nearly inaccessible, and the playlist editor seems much harder to use. This could be the result of user error (mine) or something intrinsic to WinAmp, but I never used to have the problems I'm experiencing now with WinAmp 5.11.
