If you have some vision you might also try www.spiralfrog.com for 
downloading free music.  They do have you enter characters that they show on 
the screen each time you download a song, and last I knew they didn't offer 
an audio alternative.  With their service you can download and listen to 
entire songs but you can not burn them to a CD, as they do have some form of 
Digital Rights Management that they use.  The songs can be played as much as 
you want to play them for 30 days, after which you have to update your 
registration with them.  The songs continue to play in their entirety after 
updating.  Of course, you can always use Audacity or a similar program to 
record the songs and then export them, and you should be able to burn the 
exported files.  There is also still a good P2P program that is quite 
accessible with JAWS if you are use to using the JAWS cursor and simulating 
right and left mouse button clicks.  It is called "Ares" and can be found on 
www.sourceforge.net or for the next couple days I put it on Send Space.
