Ann, OK, found that.  The reviewing toolbar was already checked- perhaps
that happens automatically when someone adds comments?  I could get to the
comments using the next or previous buttons, but it took a few more
keystrokes than using Steve's method of alt-shift-'.  After activating one
of these buttons, I could pull up a context menu to delete the comment but
not to edit it.  Thank you for the additional method of access and
information.

How about the reviewing toolbar?  Check it under view, then press 
alt, then control-tab till you get to it.  There are all kinds of 
comment buttons.
