No, you authorize the computer you are running jaws on with the ILM authorization for jaws not the version of jaws you are running. the ILM authorization key that is written to the hard drive on the machine you run jaws on is based on that particular machine's hardware configuration and changes in the hardware can even require you to reactivate jaws for the machine.
If you want to use jaws on a thumb drive and have need to do this on many different computers, you should probably go with the dongle version that you can plug into any usb port on any machine you want to run jaws on and then your version of jaws is authorized to run as long as the dongle is connected to the computer you are working on. hth Doris At 11:47 AM 2/14/2008 -0600, you wrote: >Here's an odd, probably dumb question.
