With E-Machines I usually don't find anything that needs to be removed. Sometimes the big fix program which updates the system can cause problems with jaws, but just have it checked not to run at start up and let him run it for you once a month to get your updates from gateway for the computer. I've ran several and that is usually the only thing I take out of the start up unless there's programs there I know I won't use and the computer don't need.
