I own their MS-word XP training tapes and as you say they are excellent
however they are somewhat dated.
Iowa Commission for the Blind probably doesn't have the funding to stay as
current as some of the private benders do. When I checked with them two
years ago about purchasing additional training material they were still
referencing JFW 4.51 in their courses.

Sarah,

When I needed to learn Excel, I purchased a set of training tapes from the
Iowa Commission for the Blind. They were very thorough and were easy to
use. They even included a disc of sample spreadsheets to be used with the
training. The materials, if I recall correctly, were about $25 and well
worth it.

As a matter of fact, I think I still have the text files of the training
material along with the sample spreadsheets. I can send them to you if
you'd like. If I can find them, that is.

Arrin

Subject: [JAWS-Users] excel intro/training materials

Hello all,

I have just been given a job offer that requires me to use excel. The thing
is, I've never realy had a need to learn it, so I didn't. Is there anywhere
I can go to learn the entire program, and mot just the summary label things?
Some of the things my boss will want me to do are extentions across
lines/rows?

If anyone could help me out with this, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys,
Sarah
