After you use the "Scan your computer" button, the subsequent dialog box has a tree view for choosing which drives should be scanned. use the tab key to move to the tree view. Use the up and down arrow keys to make sure only the hard drives are checked. If the floppy drive or CD-ROM drive choices are checked and there are no disks in those drives then you might get an error message letting you know that no disks are in the drives. This might not be the problem but check it out to make sure.
