Thanks Adrian,

But I haven't joined PC Audio list. Gee, do I have a double out there? It's not me. lol.

I wouldn't say the Spotify app is inaccesible. I don't know what functionality sighted people would have over what I can figure out. It is a bit confusing, though, and there are some unlabelled buttons. It does work, though. At least I can search for artists and play music. I don't know about managing playlists or saving music, etc.

I do have an iPhone, or at least I will when my new one arrives later this week. My old 5 had a rather distasteful melt down, so I'm temporarily phoneless.

Just hoping to use both platforms.

Jean

Hi, Jean.

Someone on the PC Audio list you just joined (yes, Big Brother is watching!!) recently posted that Spotify works well as an iPhone app but not on a PC. There was no follow-up to that thread. But maybe someone here has had a better experience. I was interested because I'd like to replace Pandora, which I've found difficult to use since Hope, the application designed to make it accessible, ceased to be supported.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Spotify and Jaws

Hello everyone,

We now have Spotify Premium Family Sharing in our house. I have downloaded the Windows Desktop Spotify app. It’s usable, but not all that intuative at first glance. I have no idea which version this is. Are there scripts or tips and tricks for using this with Jaws? I am running Jaws 18, but haven’t applied the most recent update.

Thanks.

Jean
