Well, I got the hardware acceleration setting changed, so am ok on that
score.

However, I'm noticing some real difficulties in terms of interfacing Jaws 18
with Firefox 52.

May try NVDA at some point;  for now, though I'm sure glad I have Internet
Explorer 11 on this computer.

Hi Tom,

You are correct. I just tried it with FF 52 and Jaws 16 and I could only
access settings in the General section. I know that this was not the case
with earlier versions of FF. I then shutdown Jaws and fired up NVDA--I was
able to get to all settings, including the hardware acceleration setting. 
So, you might want to give NVDA a try, in order to get that setting changed.
