Good Morning, I am afraid I don't have much to add except that I had this happen on a brand new work dell laptop a couple of years ago. It really is annoying! My IT person played with it for a while and I can't really remember what he did, but I think he updated drivers or possibly found others. I played with the volume settings and eventually I got it so that the volume change is minimal. That is, it still does it, but at least the difference in volume is not so much and not so jarring.
Good luck! That would be my guess. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of T. I am using A Dell XPS 8700 PC and Jaws 18 and eloquence This occurs if I am typing or reading a document. I went back to Jaws 16 but the result is the same. Any thoughts as to what could be causing this? Thanks, Tom.
