I in fact do know what INI files are for, thank you never the less for those who might not.

ini files are application specific, and they don't actually belong in any
one place on your computer. They serve as initialization file for the
application so it know what to bring up when it starts, and it also has your
license information, if any, as well as settings and other technical stuff
like that embedded in it.

Nobody ever asked me that question before, so it is nothing that crossed my
mind. I just opened it up and gave it a read and checked the gold wave
folder which BTW does not have any INI files at least not on my system. Now
the text file can be moved to wherever your heart is content as it serves no
purpose in the ENU folder. Thos are the facts at 6:31 A. M.

Hi David,

Are you saying that the,.INI, file goes into the ENU folder as well?! I'm
not questioning your knowledge, it's just that I've always been told that,
INI, files were settings files & go into the programs folder. Thanks much.
Take care.

Paste all the files in the zip archive in to the ENU folder and take a
coffee break. That's it in a nutshell.

Hi Kimsan,

I don't have Goldwave installed, but in looking at the contents of the
scripts folder it looks like the first entry in the folder is a, .INI, file.
If I'm not mistaken the, .INI, file would go into the Goldwave folder that's
either in the Program Files or Program Files X86 folders on the root of the
C drive. Then, at the bottom is a TXT file that contains keystrokes. So,
all the rest of the files would go into the ENU folder of your particular
version of Jaws. If I'm wrong, would someone please jump in & correct me?!
Take care.

Hi,

I downloaded the goldwave scrips from the jaws-users.com scrips page. How do
I install them? Do I just paste them into the enu folder for the jaws
version I'd like to use?

Respectfully,

Kimsan Song
