My most recent personal laptop is an ASUS. If you are comfortable with using the JAWS laptop layout, I really enjoy this machine. It isn't a touch device but has a great feel on your lap and the weight of the device is so incredible to feel that such a powerful device is so not heavy. Most importantly for me, typing on the keyboard feels solid.
To be clear this machine isn't for everyone. It has a smaller screen but my goals were powerful performance in the smallest machine I could find. I bought it from Amazon originally.
