Hi JM, I uninstalled 1.6.3 & installed 1.6.0, & it didn't work any better. Now after going through all this I installed the latest Windows 7 update that came out Tuesday, & after doing so the Wizard worked just fine! There is however a caveat, it could been the file I was trying to download causing all the problems, & not the Wizard at all, but that was the only file I had to work with at the moment. I didn't think about sending myself a download link from my SendSpace folder until after I had installed the Windows update, but most importantly everything is working as it should now. Hm. I have no idea. I am using JAWS 18 and the latest build of the Wizard, (1.63 something) and it works fine, though I've never checked to see the download speed in the system tray, I always just read it in the columns of the list view. I'll play around with it later and see if I have any issues with preferences.
