I never had this problem, but you could try one of these tips for getting
focus into the dialog box:

   - Use JAWS KEY+F10 to open Window List, go to the name of the dialog
   that will be shown as Restored, and press ENTER.
   - If you have JAWS 15 or latter, use the Touch Cursor with Advanced
   Object Navigation Enabled to browse the window yerarchi. Once you find the
   dialog, press DOWN ARROW to explore beneat it and, when you reach the
   Username or Password edit boxes, press ENTER to simulate a tap and get the
   PC Cursor into the dialog box.
