It is a type of link or button, with OnClickHandler event, therefore JAWS does not recognize as link, but if you click on it, the action is performed. For example, if JAWS says: Download clickable, pressing enter or space starts the download, sometimes it does not work well in ff though, and focus is moved elsewhere. use "slash" to move to the next click item, and ctrl+JAWSKey+/ to make a list of them.
