most of the so called clickables are not clickable at all. window eyes is the same way. except you can turn them off. i saw the option in jaws once but i haven't found the option again.

it hasn't worked for me MOST of the time.  when I entered or space on the
clickable you are correct focus is lost.

It is a type of link or button, with OnClickHandler event, therefore
JAWS does not recognize as link, but if you click on it, the action is
performed.
For example, if JAWS says: Download clickable, pressing enter or space
starts the download, sometimes it does not work well in ff though, and
focus is moved elsewhere.
use "slash" to move to the next click item, and ctrl+JAWSKey+/ to make
a list of them.
