It's never too late Kim. I usually prefer Braille to sound although I use
sound as a supportive tool if I need to scroll fast on documents or if
Braille misbehaves, but naughtily enough, I prefer working, with the help of
Mr. Jaws and my display of course, while I am listening to music mostly from
stations around the world. It is a pity that Pandora radio, a network
purporting to include everything in terms of musical genres, is not
available in Europe yet.
H ave a nice day,
Takis

Wow great to meet you and what a lovely sounding name. I'm a jaws user and
have been since 1999. I'm using jaws 18 at the moment. I don't know much
about the braille display, but I'm not too bad at jaws stuff. Great to meet
you. I love history and wished I'd payed more attention to it at highschool.
Oh well.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] a short introduction
Hi all,
My name is Panagiotis, (usually known as Takis) Antonpoulos, and I am a
professor of Byzantine history and history of western Europe (5-15th
century) at the University of IOannina here in Greece. I am congenitally
blind and a long standing user of jaws, currently its last version, and a
Handytech Active Braille display. This gives me some issues, just as Word
does, but my purpose was only to introduce myself to you.
With Best
Wishes,
Takis
