I just went to my FB account using the m.facebook.com mobile version. After reading my notifications I returned to Facebook by clicking on the Facebook link at the top. Now I have my Home page and I arrow down past where I can post an update and then right above my first article is a clear button that say Clear notifications. I hit enter on the button and away they go. Look right below where you can post an update and right above the first news article and there it should be. If you are using the full FB page that could be your problem.
