First I really do not want to purchase a new machine at this time. The problem that I have with my network drivers microsoft can not correct. The computer is a 2009 machine running win 7 32 bit. The corrupted driver can not be updated or reinstalled. the manufacturer no longer has a 32 bit driver on their web site. One thing that I am not sure of is if I could use my origional 32 bit windows install to run a repair and keep all of my files and programs. If that would work I would go that way. Microsoft is willing to create a product key and download the 64 bit os and install it on my machine.I hate to go through the work to reinstall programs and try to recover product keys and all emails on the new os. Now for me it would be the same amount of work if I purchased a new desktop.
