Agreed about MSFT and IE.
But, this behavior has been occurring for at least a year; and it doesn't
occur when using other screen readers.
The problem is that it is not totally replicable; you can try the same thing
and it might only happen ten percent of the time.
I haven't had this issue with Googl3e Chrome, but since a lot of people
still use IE, it is frustrating that this problem is so widespread.

Microsoft is taking their foot off the pedal with IE-11. Therefore, you
should get used to using another browser.
Several of the banks I log into for clients stopped allowing me to login
with IE-11 forcing me to switch.
Now for the good part, a number of IRS web sites I use for professionals
will not allow you to use anything but IE-11.
So, I now have 3 browsers loaded on my task bar with Chrome as my default.

Unfortunately, this is a pretty common occurrence lately with Jaws and IE
11.
Come on, guys at FS, I'm sure your techs have dealt with this enough
already!

Jaws goes silent for short periods and usually IE 11 stops working. I
will try it on my Win 10 pc later this evening. I was trying the Costco,
hearing aid center site this afternoon and finally got exasperated and
gave it up. Tom

Hi Tom
It used to be recommended not to install older versions after newer
versions
were installed. I can't tell you why this is, only that this was what I
was
told by FS tech support several years ago. If you uninstall J2018, make
sure to leave shared components & settings. You can try installing J17
first, & if everything works out just fine, then don't worry about
removing
2018. What kind of problems are you having with IE11 & J2018?
Take care. Mike. Dodgers, try again next year!

Windows 7 and Jaws 2018
I am fed up with version 2018 on the Internet with IE 11. I have version
17
in my download folder can I just install it or do I have to get rid of
2018
first. Thanks, Tom
