The funniest/best is when they call claiming to be from "Windows Technical Department" and maintaining that your computer is sending out "error signals and viruses". I used to get these calls so often on my landline. It's a very popular scam and I'm surprised people fall for it, but they must, or else it wouldn't be worth their while to keep it going.

I just received a phone call informing me that my Microsoft software license needed to be renewed, and I was wondering if anyone else received such a scam call. If not, be on the lookout for such things. Just a FYI.
