Thanks very much for educating me on this.  I believe I tried this some time
ago with a different issue with Google Chrome, but not quite remembering.  I
had no idea about html5 or flash plug-in.  I will give it a try.

Ok, then what I said applies.  Try playing through Google Chrome if you
can't enable HTML5 on IE11, and you could also make sure you have the Flash
Plug-in under your Tools Add-on menu in IE 11, although technically,
enabling HTML5 on Youtube should be all that's necessary now, since more and
more sites are moving away from Flash.
