Hi,
How do you get it to stay in edit mode all the time? I didn't know it could
and always manually switch mine to such every session. It's neat to know of
this thanks in advance.

Either f4 or spacebar to launch a scan. However if you have Openbook in
edit
mode, then only f4 will launch a scan. The default Openbook voice is very
similar to eloquence, so likely that is what you are hearing.

I believe David the head honcho of this list said press F4.
I really don't know, just ever since I installed it Elequis has been
speaking. maybe OpenBook has the Elequis voice !

you can set OpenBook to use jaws speech instead of OpenBook speech! it's
always been like that since OpenBook 8!
