I've never seen such a message. It doesn't say anything more specific? Are you using windows 10? If so, you might be able to use windows-key +a to view the notification properly in action centre, assuming it goes away quickly and you can't alt-tab to it because it's not a full/proper window. It's probably not accessible from the JAWS system tray list command.

Microsoft Windows update does often include drivers. Are you looking for something specific? Maybe check the manufacturer's site, if you feel you're missing out on the latest drivers for something.
